The “Life is a Carnival: Last Waltz Tour ’24” will make two stops in Upstate New York at the Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, NY, on Thursday, November 14, and the Kodak Center in Rochester, NY, on November 15.
This special tribute tour celebrates the music of The Band and its late guitarist and songwriter Robbie Robertson. It’ll feature a powerhouse lineup of musicians, including Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench, founding members of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, who will be joined by Ryan Bingham, Jamey Johnson, Don Was, John Medeski, Dave Malone, Terence Higgins, Cyril Neville and Mark Mullins & The Levee Horns.
For Campbell and Tench, this will be the first tour together since Tom Petty’s death in 2017, although they’ve reunited for select performances, including backing Bob Dylan at Farm Aid 2023.
Tickets for the Schenectady concert on November 14 can be purchased online through the Proctors’ website, while tickets for the Rochester concert on November 15 are available on Ticketmaster.
Tickets are also available on secondary market platforms such as Vivid Seats, SeatGeek and StubHub, which offer verified tickets with buyer guarantees.

This tour honors The Band’s legendary 1976 farewell concert, “The Last Waltz,” filmed by Martin Scorsese and turned into a concert film. The original event, held at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom, included guest performances by artists like Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Muddy Waters and more.
Fans can expect to hear classic The Band songs such as “The Weight,” “Up on Cripple Creek” and “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.”
